Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapimphan Chiengkul

Summary

Prapimphan Chiengkul is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, Thailand, and Associate Fellow at the Climate Change in Southeast Asia Programme, ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, Singapore. She specialises in the political economy and international political economy of development and her research to date has focused on issues of inequality, social justice, economic democracy, environmental sustainability, and climate change. Prapimphan is the author of The Political Economy of the Agri-Food System in Thailand (Routledge) and Labour Under Corbyn: Constraints on Radical Politics in the UK (Palgrave). She has also published research articles in Third World Quarterly, Global Society, Australian Journal of International Affairs, and Alternatives. Prapimphan’s opinion pieces and policy briefs on climate change and Southeast Asia can be found in Fulcrum.sg, Channel News Asia, Eco-Business, Bangkok Post, and ISEAS Perspective.
