MIR Program (Graduates)

Understanding the dynamics of politics, economics, and society becomes exceedingly challenging without awareness of a country’s status and role in the contemporary international system. As global relations constantly reshape lives unexpectedly, the study of international relations sheds light on these dynamic changes. Such knowledge fosters personal growth and meaningful contributions to society and the global community.
The Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University established the Master of Political Science in International Relations (MIR) program in 1998, making it the first English-language program of its kind in Thailand. The program’s core mission is to develop exceptionally prepared graduates from both academic and practical perspectives in international relations. Open to graduates from all disciplines, the program equips students with the knowledge and abilities required to lead and respond to unexpected challenges across regional and global landscapes. Weekend classes provide opportunities for employed professionals and recent graduates to pursue their studies.
