Biography

Joseph Lee is Lecturer in the Bachelor of Political Science Program in Politics and International Relations (BIR) at the Faculty of Political Science at Thammasat University. Dr. Lee is also a visiting professor at Fudan University and a research fellow at the Center for Korean Peninsula Studies at Peking University. He taught at the Department of International Relations at the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy as a full-time lecturer. From 2014 to 2016, he served on the Presidential Committee for Unification Preparation as a deputy director for the subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Lee holds a doctorate degree in diplomacy from the School of International Studies at Peking University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington (UW) and a master’s degree in international relations from New York University (NYU).
