Academic Journal

The Faculty of Political Science at Thammasat University has a vital mission: to advance knowledge that fosters intellectual growth and provide insightful policy recommendations, all while addressing the evolving needs of Thai society. To achieve this, the Faculty employs diverse strategies for disseminating knowledge. One such initiative involves the creation of academic journals that adhere to rigorous standards and serve as essential platforms for knowledge exchange among scholars and the wider public. Currently, the Faculty manages two prominent academic journals in Thailand:

Ratthasatsarn

Established in 1978, Ratthasatsarn holds a distinguished reputation within Thai society. It serves as a conduit for exchanging knowledge and visionary insights. Over four decades, this journal has been a prestigious platform for research not only in political science but also across disciplines such as history, economics, philosophy, humanities, sociology, law, and psychology. Articles published in Ratthasatsarn have been widely used as teaching materials in educational institutions and as references for research. The journal releases three issues annually: Issue 1 (January-April), Issue 2 (May-August), and Issue 3 (September-December). Ratthasatnithet

Ratthasatnithet is committed to bridging theoretical frameworks with practical applications. Its objective is to enrich knowledge not only among academics, students, and researchers but also among the broader public beyond academia. By balancing theoretical and practical dimensions, the journal aims to enhance the effective utilization of knowledge, especially in response to society’s evolving demands. It releases two issues annually: Issue 1 (January-June) and Issue 2 (June-December).
