Forgiveness in a course in miracles is basically correction in the mind. Through the metaphysical aspect, you have a split mind. One for reds in the split system is the ego (wrong mind). Sleep issues may be the Holy Spirit (right mind) which produces correction, also known as forgiveness. Within this split mind scenario, you still retain your decision maker - observer and this allows you to select from the split mind portions. You've never dropped it. If you choose judgment, yourrrre still choosing. Therefore, it is not hidden, but nonetheless being utilized. The ego will not would like you to understand this because choosing against the ego's judgments is death to it.

Whenever we speak about forgiveness, we're not these are forgiveness reported by the ego world. This is a different thought process and can be challenging to initially grasp. All it requires is just a little willingness to master the best way to do this and then following up by carrying it out of choosing to change over judgments for correction (forgiveness) from the Holy Spirit (right mind). Make no mistake: This really is death for the ego!

Conclusion: The ego can be a vindictive and vicious thought system that aims to help keep you stuck on this planet by increasing your separation from all the others using judgment. You can't see Heaven from judgment. Should you listen to the judgments with the ego, your life is a representation of the judgments; however, if you listen with all the Holy Spirit (right mind) and choose forgiveness by generating those judgments, every one of the consequences of the ego (wrong mind) choices are undone. You do this by happy to completely surrender the ego with that subject material and judge one other way. Turn it over! All of it depends upon the option of the internal Teacher. You cannot be described as a slave to two masters.
